How to setup MFA in the TruGrid Authenticator

How to set up your Multifactor Authentication using TruGrid Authenticator

This procedure requires TruGrid Authenticator app, it can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhones or Play Store for Android Phones
Once the app is installed, you can proceed with procedure below.

In your internet Browser, go to app.trugrid.com

Enter your registered corporate email address and select CONTINUE, enter your PASSWORD and click CONTINUE




Select Authentication app method and click Continue


Scan QR code

a. From your Smart Phone, open the TruGrid Authenticator
b. Click the + sign on top right. This will open your camera. Accept any prompt from your phone to allow TruGrid to use your camera to scan MFA setup QR code
c. Use your Smart Phone to scan the QR code displayed on your computer
d. From the TruGrid Authenticator on your Smart Phone, click ALLOW. This will add a six-digit security code to the display on your computer and advance it to the next screen.



Set up MFA with Phone number:


Enter your Phone number to receive an SMS with 4-digit code for log in


Last option is email. This option is only available for users who have their email added to their Active Directory account.
After you choose this option, you will receive an email with your 6-digit MFA code

Users are able to rename their MFA accounts



Hide MFA code

Click on the three horizontal dots to reveal Hide Codes menu
