TruGrid Connector RDP Settings Explanations
GENERAL
Screen Mode - Determines whether the remote session window appears either full screen or spanned across multiple monitors when you launch the connection.
Screen Resolution - Specifies the resolution width and height (in pixels) of the remote session.
Video Quality - Determines the quality of the video played in the remote session.
Cache Bitmaps - Determines whether bitmaps are cached on the local computer (disk-based cache). Bitmap caching can improve the performance of the remote session.
Auto-Reconnect - Determines whether the client will automatically try to reconnect to the remote computer if the connection is dropped, such as when there's a network connectivity interruption.
Keyboard Redirection - Determines how Windows key combinations are applied when you are connected to a remote computer.
DISPLAY
Dynamic Session Resolution - Determines whether the resolution of the remote session is automatically updated when the local window is resized.
Allow Font Smoothing - Determines whether font smoothing may be used in the remote session.
Disable Wallpaper - Determines whether the desktop background is displayed in the remote session.
Disable Menu and Window Animation - Determines whether menus and windows can be displayed with animation effects in the remote session.
Disable Themes - Determines whether themes are permitted when you log on to the remote computer.
Disable Full Window Drag - Determines whether window content is displayed when you drag the window to a new location.
Display Connection Bar - Determines whether the connection bar appears when you are in full screen mode.
Pin Connection Bar When In Full Screen Mode - Determines whether or not the connection bar should be pinned to the top of the remote session upon connection when in full screen mode.
Allow Desktop Composition - Determines whether desktop composition (needed for Aero) is permitted when you log on to the remote computer.
Scale Local Window Content - Determines whether or not the local computer scales the content of the remote session to fit the window size.
Disable Cursor Setting - Determines whether or not the cursor animation is enabled.
Enable DirectX Rendering - Determines whether DirectX will be enabled for the remote session.

Redirect Printers - Determines whether printers configured on the local computer will be redirected and available in the remote session
Redirect POS Devices - Determines whether Microsoft Point of Service (POS) for .NET devices connected to the client computer will be redirected and available in the remote session.
Redirect COM Ports - Determines whether the COM (serial) ports on the client computer will be redirected and available in the remote session.
Redirect Smartcard - Determines whether smart card devices on the local computer will be redirected and available in the remote session.
Redirect Cameras - Determines whether cameras on the local computer will be redirected and available in the remote session.
Redirect Plug and Play Devices - Determines which supported Plug and Play devices on the client computer will be redirected and available in the remote session.
Redirect Clipboard - Determines whether the clipboard on the client computer will be redirected and available in the remote session and vice versa.
AUDIO AND VIDEO
Microphone Redirection - Indicates whether audio input redirection is enabled.
Audio Playback - Determines if the connection will use RDP-efficient multimedia streaming for audio playback.
Encode Redirected Video Capture - Enables or disables encoding of redirected video.
Redirected Video Capture Encoding Quality - Controls the quality of encoded video.
Video Playback Mode - Determines if the connection will use RDP-efficient multimedia streaming for video playback.
