Reset Local RDP Publisher Prompt

Reset Local RDP Publisher Prompt

If you would like to get the below Trust Publisher prompt to show again, we have provided instructions below.

Some users might want to do this because they want to disable Drives, Clipboard or Printers would automatically getting mapped.

Publisher prompt

To make this prompt again, you will need to delete some saved Trusted Publisher entries from the registry.

Editing the registry is dangerous. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.

In the registry you can go to this path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\PublisherBypassList. Then delete the entries in it that look like the below example the red arrow is pointing to. If it still does not prompt, you may not have deleted the correct entry.

This should cause the prompt to show again for you when you try once more to connect to the machine via TruGrid. A reboot is not required to make this work.
