TruGrid SecureRDP MCP on Pipedream
TruGrid SecureRDP MCP on Pipedream
TruGrid SecureRDP is now available in the Pipedream app directory and public MCP server catalog. This integration lets TruGrid administrators securely connect their tenant to AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
What is Pipedream?
Pipedream is a powerful integration platform that connects apps and APIs with thousands of pre-built connectors. It also maintains a public MCP server catalog and securely manages authentication and credentials for connected users.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to discover and interact with external tools and services. By connecting your TruGrid account through Pipedream’s MCP server, AI tools can perform actions in your TruGrid tenant using natural language. Pipedream brokers authentication, so the AI assistant never sees your API key. This approach is especially useful for platforms that don’t yet offer a native MCP server.
TruGrid SecureRDP listing
The TruGrid MCP Pipedream listing is available at:
- Pipedream TruGrid App directory: https://pipedream.com/apps/trugrid-securerdp
- Pipedream TruGrid MCP server catalog: https://mcp.pipedream.com/app/trugrid_securerdp
- Pipedream MCP server URL: https://mcp.pipedream.net/v2
The authentication layer for the TruGrid platform is already in place. A TruGrid administrator with a valid TruGrid API key can connect their account to Pipedream today and use that connection in Pipedream workflows.
What you can do today
With a TruGrid API key connected to Pipedream, you can:
- Build workflows that call existing TruGrid API endpoint
- Combine TruGrid actions with hundreds of other apps (Slack, ticketing systems, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Let AI assistants (e.g., Claude) manage your TruGrid tenant through natural language; no need to remember API details
Example: A system administrator can add the TruGrid Pipedream MCP server in Claude and communicate requests normally sent via API calls. The AI translates the request, executes it securely via Pipedream, and returns the result.
Security and data handling
Treat the TruGrid API key stored in Pipedream as a sensitive credential. TruGrid is not responsible for actions performed by AI tools or third-party platforms. Only grant the minimum permissions necessary.
How to get an API key
API keys are not self-service. To request one for your tenant, email help@trugrid.com from an administrator account. For full API documentation, see the TruGrid API reference.
