How to configure RDP monitor settings

Admins and Users can configure RDP settings and preferences via the TruGrid Windows Connector or TruGrid web portal. Settings configured on the Web or Windows Connectors will be respected by all TruGrid Connector applications.

For Hi DPI monitors, please reference these additional Microsoft blogs on the ZOOM feature of RDP: http://microsoftplatform.blogspot.com/2015/06/remote-desktop-protocol-10-zoom-option.html & https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-security-and/zoom-windows-10-remote-desktop-connections-to-older-versions-of/ba-p/249242

Using TruGrid Windows Connector
Login to TruGrid Windows Connector. Click the PERSON icon menu on top-right and then click SETTINGS. From the SETTINGS dialog, This will default to GENERAL settings. See below example.

To configure HiDPI display, under the SCREEN MODE drop down, select WindowedMode
Under SCREEN RESOLUTION, click SET CUSTOM and enter your preferred resolution. Then click SAVE.

Click the SAVE button. Admins will have a choice of applying the changes to just themselves and / or domains they are authorized to manage. See below example.
If you are remoting to Windows 7 and older operating system, or you are using DPI of over 100% on your local endpoint, please refer to the Microsoft blogs at the beginning on this document for more information
