RDP Setting for Multi Monitors

RDP Settings for Multi Monitors

Admins and Users can configure RDP settings and preferences via the TruGrid Windows Connector or TruGrid web portal. Settings configured on the Web or Windows Connectors will be respected by all TruGrid Connector applications.

Virtually all RDP preferences can be fully configured via the TruGrid Windows, Mac, and Web ConnectorsWhen connecting to a Remote Computer that has 2 monitors attached, TruGrid will only detect the primary one.

Using TruGrid Windows Connector

Login to TruGrid Windows Connector. Click the Profile ** icon on top-right and then click **SETTINGS. From the SETTINGS dialog, This will default to **GENERAL **settings. See below example.

  • To configure Multi monitor, under the SCREEN MODE drop down, select FullScreen (all displays)

  • Click the SAVE button. Settings take effect on next RDP connection. ADMINS will have a choice of applying the changes to just themselves and / or domains they are authorized to manage. See below example for ADMINS.

On TruGrid Mac Connector

  • The monitors where the Window is being stretched should be set to the same resolution
  • TruGrid Screen mode should be set for “Windowed” in the “General” category
  • Under the “Display” category the “Dynamic screen resolution” should be toggled on
  • The following setting should be disabled on the client Mac device: Desktop & Dock > Mission Control > Displays have separate Spaces:
