How to update Sentry installation via TruGrid web portal

How to update your Sentry Installation from TruGrid Web portal


TruGrid advises performing updates outside of business hours.


During Sentry update, all active RDP sessions will be dropped


Root administrators or customer administrators have the ability to update the Sentry installation.


How to perform upgrade

  1. Login to the TruGrid portal using root admin or customer admin credentials
  2. In My Workspace section, admins can view the notification regarding the Sentry Update.

  3. Click on the Update
  4. Select the designated server (in this guide we choose one of the servers for the update)
  5. Click Update Now
  6. You will get a notification Update in progress
  7. Please wait for a few minutes and then check the actual Sentry version
  8. Open Resource Assignment find out an informational icon on the right near Refresh data from AD
  9. Admin will see that Sentry has been updated to the latest version
