Inside the Remote Desktop Connection on iOS devices

An overview of the options within the Remote Connection:

  • Since iOS does not have the ability to have a mouse connected, this is done through a series of options
  • The default one is using the taps on your phone or tablet as the standard, left click of the mouse
  • The app also adds an advanced option where you can use the right click, scroll and details pane
  • This advanced options pop up can be moved by dragging it across the screen and using it as a virtual mouse
  • You can bring up the keyboard on the side or at the bottom of the screen
  • Finally, you can exit the app by clicking on the crossed off circle at the bottom
