# How to whitelist the Windows Native Desktop Connector

# How to whitelist the Windows Native Desktop Connector

For certain anti-virus products, you may need to whitelist the executable as it may trigger a false positive alert.

For the TruGrid Windows Native Desktop Connector, once the app is open, the easiest way to find its exact path is via Windows Task Manager.

* Open Task Manager
* Find the process, right-click the mouse button and then select Open File Location.
* The path will be something similar to below: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\HLGXZOJ5.LXM\GW1WX8N0.RRD\trug..tion_86a53a8af41f36e2_0001.0000_9b6d87d60b27d5a0
