Getting Started with TruGrid SecureRDP

TruGrid SecureRDP allows organizations to connect to Windows systems behind firewalls without VPN or firewall exposure (no external open ports). TruGrid includes free MFA when end users authenticate against Active Directory. Optionally, end users can authenticate against Azure AD. Office 365 business accounts already include Azure AD.

Please follow the steps below to get started with TruGrid SecureRDP.

  1. Register for a TruGrid Account. Registration requires a credit card and includes a two-week trial period

  1. Contact TruGrid using the CHAT link on this page to schedule your on-boarding session. Prior to on-boarding, please note the following:
  • Determine if your end users will authenticate against Active Directory or Azure AD
  • Make sure that you have a functioning Active Directory domain or Azure AD environment
  • Make sure that you have proper ADMIN permission to install software on computers in an Active Directory or Azure AD environment
  • Make sure that you have proper ADMIN permission to add Security Groups to Active Directory or Azure AD environment
  • Make sure that you have available Windows computers to connect to. These computers can be joined to Active Directory domain, Azure AD, or standalone

NOTE: TruGrid SecureRDP can be used to connect to existing installations of Microsoft RDS Farm, Citrix Virtual Deskops and Apps, and VMware Horizon Suite without disruption to these environments.
